Pregabalin, Nortriptyline And Mecobalamin Tablets
Description
Pregabalin + Nortriptyline + Methylcobalamin is a combination of three medicines which are Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, and Methylcobalamin. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand that helps reduce pain by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises the levels of chemical messengers(noradrenaline and serotonin) which terminate the movement of pain signals in the brain. Methylcobalamin is a form of Vitamin B12 which helps in the production of Mylin, a substance that protects nerve fibers and improves damaged nerve cells.
Indications
- Methylcobalamin + Nortriptyline + Pregabalin is indicated for the management of neuropathic pain associated with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, spinal cord injury, etc. Methylcobalamin aids in producing myelin, a substance that protects nerve fibres and regenerates damaged nerve cells.
